Director's Note

The Astroid Database was a collaborative course project focused on applying relational database management principles using SQL and JavaScript. The database describes the relationships between asteroids, comets, and other objects that orbit the Earth. From designing ER diagrams to structuring normalized data tables, we implemented a fully functional SQL backend that handled CRUD operations via an intuitive, user-friendly web interface. Additionally, we performed input sanitization to prevent SQL injection attacks so that the database stays secure and reliable for users.
